A scribe is someone who documents and keeps track of records, and organizes important city information. Demotic script was an everyday use of script in abbreviated/cursive form, usually written from right to left in ink. It was used for legal, work, and religious documents. Egyptians used tools to help carve into walls of tombs and temples o write their messages. They wrote on papyrus using a mix from plants to make paint or ink. The Rosetta Stone was an important discovery because it deciphered how to read hieroglyphics because the same thing was written in two other languages (greek and demotic) which people understood.
